Aaron Rodgers = Hall of Fame?

I know he's only been a starter for 3 seasons, but do you think the super bowl win pretty much makes Aaron Rodgers a hall of famer, given that he plays well for a few more yeras.

If he plays as well as he did this season for another 5 or so years, then yes, it’s possible that he’ll end up in the Hall of Fame.

At this point though, I wouldn’t classify him as one of the best of all time. He won his first play-off game this year. He’s more of an up and coming player (in my opinion).

Not yet. One Super Bowl win does not make a HoFer. If he wins two, then a very good chance.

HoFer could easily be subject to misinterpretation.

Not quite yet, in my eyes he’s one of the top QB’s but it will take a few more top-notch years and possibly another SB in his career, which can easily be done.

I’m 99.9% sure that Rodgers will be a Hall of Famer; however, he still has a lot of work to do. My guess is he sticks around for about 8-10 more years and wins 3 or more additional Super Bowls. I think 20 years from now, Rodgers will be said to be one of the top 3 QB’s in NFL History.

Still, it’s best not to get too caught up in the future and just enjoy everything he’s done in the present.

^ A little too much cheese for dinner, huh?

I mean he’s good, but three or more SB wins in the next 8-10 years?? I don’t think so.

I wouldn’t bet against him. I see him as the Tom Brady of 2011-2020.

He’s a great player, and if he continues this way, he will probably be a hall of famer, but there are so many things that can happen to stop that.

Just look at Carson Palmer. He was one of the best quarterbacks in the league. A freak play destroys his knee, and five years later he’s threatening to retire if he’s not traded.

Aaron Rodgers totally went to my high school. Just sayin’

Are you kidding? One Super Bowl ring and you already want to put him in the Hall of Fame?

At this rate, Rodgers is going to be a hall of famer, no doubt about it. Think about this:

Rodgers is currently the **All-Time Leader in Career Passing Rating **. That stands for both regular season and postseason. His career passer rating is a 98.4! Do you understand just how efficient that is??? That’s an entire 3 points higher than both Brady and Manning, two guys who will both be in Canton. The scary part is that Rodgers is still young and getting better.

So my answer is that no, he is not in the Hall of Fame as of right now. However, three or even two more seasons at this output would definitely put him into the discussion. He very well may go down with a career passer rating of over 100, if he retires in his prime like Barry Sanders.

Hey… Dan Marino went to the hall, and he never got a ring.
Right now… Aaron Rodgers needs to have about 5-8 more Great Seasons… and it’s a wrap.
