About common app supplements...HELP please

<p>On the supplemts (on the commonapp) for Santa Clara Univeristy and Smith College there are short answers questions which ask "why did u apply to _____college/university?"</p>

<p>Well they dont' give you enough room to fully express why you want to apply... Is it ok to fill in as much as I can in the box available then put the rest into the additional information portion of the supplement page and just label is as a continuation of the "Why did you apply to.." question?</p>

<p>or should i just truncate my answers? cuz really, they allow like 4 lines at most.</p>

<p>well i submitted mine already for scu and i just used the allotted space. it took me a while to come up with something that short that I was happy with but I did. I would think you could just put it in the addtional info box too, but I am far too OCD for that.</p>
