Hi, everyone. I'm an international student and I live outside America now. I have my midyear report sent to Stanford by DHL 3 days ago. I tracked my shipment online last night and found it had been delivered in Redwood City, CA. Actually, I filled the delivery address as it is on the mailing label of Stanford:
Stanford University
Office of Undergraduate Admission
Montag Hall
355 Galvez street
Stanford, CA 94305-6106
But, why when appearing on the track web, the details say my shipment is to STANFORD UNIVERSITY, Redwood City, CA 94305-6106?
Isn't it Ok when the package sent to Stanford by DHL delivered in Redwood City? I'm very worried about it.
Can anyone tell me sth about that?
Thanks.

You should be fine. Stanford, CA really isn't a real "city," more like a postal designation. Redwood City is the substation for both USPS and FedEx/DHL etc for zip code 94305 and where most mail to campus go through. That is, after your package lands in a bay area airport, it'll get shipped to Redwood City first and then it'll be delivered individually to the actual addresses.

Redwood City is a city nearby Stanford. Rest assured, it should have gotten to Stanford given that it says STANFORD UNIVERSITY.

When FedEX and UPS ships to me, it says "delivered to South San Francisco" even though that is another city but I still get it in the end. I live in San Francisco by the way.
