About Extra-Curricular Activities

I have heard that admissions officers don't like it when people do an activity for 3 years and then suddenly stop...

However, I'm applying early, and some of my activities haven't started yet (i.e. All-Eastern Band acceptance letters come after november deadline)

My most important activities, which I have been doing for througout my high school career, are invitation/audition only, and start after January 1st, so I don't have a perfect 100% chance of getting in. But I've always gotten invitations/made auditions...

What should I do? My guidance counselor said I should put "awaiting acceptance" for e.c.'s like All-Eastern Band, but there really isn't a space for that either...

Your thoughts (especially AdmissionsDaniel's)?

**Also, am I allowed to send in a resume separetly although I'm applying online?

Listen to your counselor, he/she is providing you with excellent advice. Use the additional information section to record the information if necessary.

Yes, online applicants may send in separate resumes.

Is it appropriate to send in the resume in the additional information section or through mail?

Your choice -- you can mail a separate resume, add it to the additional information section, or not submit an addition. We have no preference.

So should I write that I'm sending in a resume on the online application or just leave the space blank?

It would be a good idea to mention in your online application that you will be mailing in additional information (or your resume).
