I was wondering if the medschools look at the overall GPA or science and humanities GPA separately. I'm debating whether to take orgo, physics and genetics course this sem, or to take an intro language course as a GPA booster. But if the medschools don't really look at the overall GPA, then i think it's better to take the genetics course since it'll help me with my major etc. But of course, it's an upper level science course and maybe harder to get an A than in an intro language... so any suggestions? or ideas about how the medschools look at your GPA?

Yes, they look at both your science and your overall GPA separately. If your genetics course is anything like the genetics course at my school, I think genetics, physics, and orgo in one semester is too much.

yup, thats basically how it boils down, they look at both
