Hi,
I am an EAP student and my phase II start on July 26. I wonder how regular degree students get their phase IIs started. (And also, when do their phase I end?)

There is one very important class I wish to take and now my phase I is over and I need to wait until 26th.

Phase I ends for everyone at the same time. It was July 13th for Fall 2010. The phases have a range of dates, but inside that range, every student is blocked from registering until an assigned 24 hour interval. For example, phase II runs from today (July 15) through August 15th. Disabled students and athletes will have the earliest assigned slots within that range. An example of a very early phase II appointment is 11:20AM today to 11:20AM tomorrow.

However, once you hit your 24 hour appointment, you can continue to register and to make changes afterwards through the rest of phase II, you just need to do it during open hours, basically early morning, evenings and weekends. [Tele-BEARS Calendar/Schedule - Office Of The Registrar](http://registrar.berkeley.edu/current_students/registration_enrollment/telebears_calendar.html)

The assigned times can be correlated to class level (Seniors ahead of juniors, etc), units earned within that range, but does seem to have some randomness in it; students may find they are relatively earlier or later in a phase in some semesters compared to other semesters, compared to the times given peers with identical units and class level.
