? about submitted app

Has anyone who applied for freshman admission in 2012 received any email after the one saying they have received our application? Are we going to get some sort of log in to make sure everything is in?

Bump, I would like to know this as well. I haven’t heard anything since I submitted my application. But on the site, it does say it will take ‘few’ weeks…

Give the admissions office some time to process everything then send confirmations out.

My year (two years ago) I received a letter confirming, as well as instructions in that letter on how to set up a UW Net ID, which you can use to track your admissions information online (it lists all your scores, intended major, etc).

However, it seems like they may be sending email confirmations out nowadays.

If you’re really worried, you can call in and ask about it, but I wouldn’t worry about this.

Okay! Thanks for responding. I got the email saying it would take a couple of weeks to set up the UW ids and such. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I have so many applications out right now I would hate it if I forgot to do something and had no way of fixing it.

Looks like you’re all set! When you set up your NetID, go and check the ‘admissions tab’ to see all the test scores and information for your application. You won’t be able to see everything, such as your essays, but the basics will be there. If you are missing any test scores that somehow didn’t end up with your application, let them know right away.
