About the UC Eligibility Index

in order to get into a uc, you gotta be eligible for admission first right? well on the index, it says if you get at least a 3.45 uc gpa, you gotta get at least an 1858 test score total as well in order to be eligible. but how does the test score total work? i heard it's your SAT I total score along with your scores on two additional sat II tests. but if that's the case, it would be too easy to get at least an 1858 test total, because if you take all those tests, it's out of a possible 4000 points!

or perhaps the 1858 total is based only on your SAT I score out of 2400? someone clarify

The 1858 does mean total with sat1+sat2+sat2. This may sound easy, but this is NOT what you want to get if you want to make it into a UC. There is always competition at each campus so you'll be needing more than minimum requirements.

Oh, BTW, I can touch 9 feet :].

ok, that's what i thought, but i guess you'll still need to overachieve to get in huh? and yeah, my name is an inside joke, like i was poking fun at this short friend of mine who really can't touch 9 feet, sad huh?
