<p>Had my regional competition the other day, took second in the scholastic division with 7916.</p>
<p>Tests were tough, so I didn't do as well as I'd like. My school took third with an overall score of 42,400.</p>
<p>We were able to move from our regionals to state, we were 5th at our regionals and got 2nd in super quiz.</p>
<p>Our state's competition is cutting the speech, interview, and essay subjects, due to lack of judges and funding. And also, I can't go, due to conflicting regionals/states (same day as my Robotics regional, and the latter is more important, as I am only an alternated for AcaDeca.)</p>
<p>Everyone here goes from Regionals to state. Our coach has yet to release who's competing at state. I can't decide if I want to or not. Doubt I'll be able to though.</p>
<p>Just had comp. this past saturday. I feel I did HORRIBLE!</p>
<p>Speech was good, but I didnt sell it like I should have. Impromptu was great. Interview as well. Loved the essay. </p>
<p>Now, to staart studying for next saturday!</p>
<p>I hate interview. Here it's sorandom on who wins. It just depends on what your judges are looking for and rarely you can actually tell what that is.</p>
<p>There was a guy on my team last year that was incredibly outgoing and friendly. He got gold in both (I think he got 1000 in one of them).</p>
<p>One guy this year said his interview went great and one of the judges added him on facebook.</p>
<p>My speech & interview went a'ight, but my scores will probably end up not counting because the other honors decathletes are amazing :)!!</p>
<p>My team won Super Quiz! It was amazing, a come-from-behind victory (kind of like what I'm hoping for the Cards at this point).</p>
