Academic Dishonesty - how does it affect my chances

I’m a sophomore studying engineering, and I was found guilty of trying to alter my test in a re-grade (something that I did not actually do, and I am appealing the decision), and so my grade in the class was lowered by one letter grade. The flag stays on my disciplinary record, but not on my academic transcript (I know that for more serious transgressions, the flag also goes on academic transcript).

My question is - do MBA schools specifically ask for your disciplinary record or just for your academic transcript? Because my transcript will not show the violation, but the disciplinary record will.

They don’t ask for your disciplinary record. By the way, when I suspect students are altering their test answers and then submitting it for re-grading, I remember to make a copy of the graded test the next time. How awkward the student and I both feel when it happens again and I can pull a copy of the original exam out of my drawer.

Thanks for the response!
