Academic Dismissal! Help!

Hey everyone, I received not too long ago a letter stating that I was dismissed from the school I went to. My really big concern is that it was a community college and I’m confused I don’t know what to do. I attended Fullerton college for the past 4 semesters and did horrible in all of them. Most of the semesters consisted of me withdrawing from most of my classes and I’d only keep two but I’d do really bad in them as well. My issue here is that during those four semesters I couldn’t keep up with school because my uncle was sick. He was in coma and my family decided he’d stay with us. He needed a lot of care. Since my parents worked I was left in charge of watching over him. I obviously couldn’t do my work without leaving him alone. He later passed away during my third semester in college and it took a toll on me. I sincerely wanted to concentrate on my work but I couldn’t. I also worked at least 30 hours a week and got home very late. My fourth semester in college I was determined to do well but again, I was messing up. My cousin passed away in May right when school was about to be over and finals were right around the corner. I wrote a petition letter stating my situation but have a feeling it’s going to be denied. So what can I do now? Do I continue with school or do I just give up? Please someone I need some insight. I really want to receive an education but I’m too worried I’ll fail again. I need some tips and advice on what to do. Please anyone?

These cases are all very individual. You need to connect directly with the school and see what they can do for you. Make an appointment with someone who can help as soon as possible.
