Academic Rigor at Oberlin?

Can anyone speak about the Academic rigor at Oberlin? I come from an inner-city high school with not surprisingly easy classes, but I'm taking college level classes full time at a local State university(full time for both Junior and Senior year) in place of taking high school classes, which has definitely upped my course load rigor.

I want to go to a college where the emphasis is on academics, and I'm sure Oberlin definitely is, but how rigorous? Are students stressing out about their grades all the time? Is it manageable? I want to be challenged, but I don't want anything that's borderline unmanageable. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

The workload is manageable and if you put in the effort you will see the appropriate results and learn a great deal. Professors are accessible so if you do not understand a concept, you can meet with the Prof to discuss. Not always true and definitely not true at a large school like Cornell, for example.
