Academic Suspension

Hello I’m seeking some help. During the Summer of 2015 i graduated from a community college and transferred to a 4 year college in the fall of 2015 with a AA degree I received. During the Fall, certain circumstances arrived which made it impossible for me to attend classes after the drop period had passed, therefore, I failed my classes and was put on Academic probation. During the spring of 2016 i re enrolled in the same university with my intent to get of the academic probation status. Even though my grades were decent during the spring, they weren’t good enough to raise my gpa above 2.3, therefore i was academically suspended from the university. I am unable to receive financial aid, or loans at the university. According to their policy I have a few options. 1. I must remain absent from the university for 24 consecutive months, after that time I will be reinstated with frogiveness; meaning, any grade below a C will be erased from my record. 2. Attend the University as a summer only student, while still being ineligible for financial aid or loans. Also with this option, the 24 months rule does not apply, because I wont be absent. The 3rd and final option is to earn an Associates Degree anytime after I’ve been suspended and I will be re instated with forgiveness. Here is my question. At the Community college in which i graduated, the academic catalogs for each program are updated yearly. they have a tool on the website where you can select a specific program and it shows you a list of classes that have already been completed by the student and classes that are incomplete or needed in order to earn that degree. Since I’ve been gone away from the community college for a year and a half, the catalog has updated and shows that I can earn another AA degree because certain courses have been omitted from that program. Do you think this will work towards been re instated at the 4 year College?
