Two years ago I graduated from an early college program where I received an associate’s degree in science and a certificate in business administration. I went off to a large public university and after my first fall semester I was put on academic probation, that spring I made horrible grades and was suspended from the university, to enable my enrollment I took summer classes and avoided the suspension by getting my gpa back up, I returned to the university that next fall and once again made bad grades, I was suspended from the university again, this time the suspension was indefinite and I could not return for less than three academic years. But the university allows suspended students to take summer classes to enable enrollment, which is what I had did before. So being that I was starting my three-year suspension this spring semester, I decided that I would return during the summer but take classes at a community college back home for the spring. This was the same community college I attended in high school and most of the courses they offer there, I have already taken and there were few to fit my major. The semester at the community college ended today and I made a 2.3 gpa on all my coursework, I was hoping for a 2.5. A few weeks ago I called the office of financial aid at the public university I once attended and they told me I could not apply to summer school without reapplying to the university first. I did not have to go through that process the first time and the deadline has passed for summer admission. I was told that the suspension policy is changing and will take affect in the fall allowing me to be able to return Spring 2016 if I reapply and get admitted. I am not sure what to do. I cannot take anymore classes at a community college and I really didn’t want to transfer to another university. This whole situation has been completely stressful. I want to attend a university Fall 2015…… any help please
