Will Academic Dishonesty caused class drop (F-drop) seriously affect getting into colleges?

What can I do about this?

I re-made the class in summer school and got an A.

How should I go about explaining it to colleges?

How should I go about explaining it to colleges?

Yes. It really will. Not the F, the academic dishonesty will be a b*tch to explain.

Tell them the truth, that’s all you can do. What did you do anyways?

^I’m curious as well. Unfortunately, that will have a negative effect:/

Ugh. I hate that something I did when I was 15 will affect my life so much. I’m a mostly As student, about one B a semester.

Something really stupid in the span of two days. My life is probably ****ed.

Just go to a community college for a year or two then transfer. That way they won’t see your high school grades.

You can always apply, but don’t expect to get in to good schools.

Oh, and my school has a REALLY strict dishonesty policy. 2 strikes and you’re out.

Ok. Welcome to college life. Most times here it’s one strike and you’re out. The difference is, in high school you can make up for it. In college, that follows you for the rest of your life and there is not tuition refund.

So you didn’t learn the first time?
