To make certain that I do not waste $45, when the registration ticket that says that "the name listed on your ID must match exactly your name listed on your Admission Ticket", does this mean that if my school ID does not have my middle initial but my Admission Ticket does, the test center will not admit me?

i think you’ll be fine!
but if you want to be sure, you can take a passport.

If your school ID has your picture on it, then you’ll be alright (unless you change your image). Still, even with or without the picture, you still be fine bringing your school ID for identification.

My school ID has my photo but no middle initial, and my passport is expired.

So if, say the name on the admissions ticket is “Jane L Doe”, but the name on my school ID is just “Jane Doe”, would they not allow me to take the SAT? I want to know so that I could get an updated ID form or new passport in time for the January SAT if I have to.

bump (10 char)

I have the same question can someone please reply?

Should be okay.

It varies from proctor to proctor so if you want to be extra safe, get the new passport, you’ll have to eventually?

Even if someone has been in the same situation as you, your proctor may be different, but it’ll likely be okay.

the people who check it where I once went barely cared and were super lenient.
