I'm thinking about doing pre med with a major in either art (or architecture), business or psychology. How would these majors be looked at for med school admissions? Does it make a significant difference what your major is? I would really rather not be a science major, but I would consider it if it's important for admissions. Thanks for any information/advice.

It does not matter what you major in. Major in what you enjoy. Being a non-science major has been said to make you stand out a little bit more anyways.

Yea, I heard that 66% of music majors who apply to med school get accepted.

From what I've read, as long as you maintain a high GPA in your premed requirements, you'll be fine. I intend to do the same; majoring in bio does not appeal to me.
