Can anyone describe the acceptance envelop appearance? Color, size, thick or thin, etc.? Thanks!–you know you all have been wondering the same thing…hehe

I know in 2006 when my D was accepted, the envelope was a large fat one.

its a creamish tanish color big envelope. relatively thick. i won’t say anything else because itll ruin the surprise.

Who really cares- Why do you want to ruin the surprise after waiting to hear for so long.

It’s always a big one. That’s not going to change.

I was accepted back in December early action…yes the envleope was big and tan but not as thick as I expected it only had I think one booklet with the letter …then again I was early action so my financial aid package was not included…Good luck to everyone!

well rejection is small. so acceptance is definetly big…i’m so effing mad, but I expected it…I would have never gotten in anyway…I guess it’s reality that I suck at life :'(

good luck to everyone else.

superwoman— Don’t think that way. Maybe BC is not right for you. God knew it and so he didn’t intend to go you there.

Have you got your letter yet? BTW, how many tabs do you have on your BC-Agora website?? That might help others out. Keep your chin up. You gonna get into the school that is right for you.

sowmit’s right. BC is not for everyone.

It’s not where you go, but it is the fact that you go that counts.

sowmit- true, my dad said the same exact thing.
XX55XX- that is also true, I just want to be happy at this point. I don’t want to be miserable for the next four years lol, :)

g luck!

Well, I presume that you have already been accepted by some colleges, so there is no reason to seriously worry - unless the only school you applied to is BC.

superwoman-- I am not sure if this would be the right time to ask but can you please tell us how many tabs you have on your BC account so that we can be sure about the TABS rumor?

What your dad said is exactly right. You end up where you should be. So, smile… :)

XX55XX- yea I was accepted at Northeastern but it’s too expensive…idk, I still have to wait for 8 other schools…

and sowmit- Nope! I never got a tab in the first place…I guess it might mean something…but then again, they didn’t receive my noncustodial w-2 forms yet so…idk.

superwoman-- Thank you for that. If you were accepted to NEU then I think you should go there UNLESS you get into an Ivy. BC and NEU is almost the same (academically) and I think they almost cost the same.

yea, true. I guess I’ll just wait, it does make the process of choosing schools easier, but it’s still heartbreaking. :'(

I know what you mean. Hope you get into an ivy. Where else did u apply?

Thanks, I applied to Brown, that’s the only ivy I like lol, I love its liberal-ness, lmao, that’s soo not a word! I also applied to UMASS Amherst (accepted), Emmanuel (accepted) still waiting on Spelman College, Amherst college, Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, BU, Florida A & M, College of the Holy Cross.

If you are a minority You have a pretty good shot at Holy Cross,
If you have good ecs, good grades, SAT (I am gonna say 1500+) U have a 50-50 shot at BU,
Amherst-- Depends.
Brown-- Not sure but I know one student who got accepted to Brown with only 1620 last year. But she had bunch of ecs and ranked 6 out of 300 something kids in a very competitive class. So if you have close to that you have a MAYBE shot. But still it is Brown.
BrynMawr- I know a kid from my school got in this year with only 1330 SAT(out of 2400) but again she was a minority. So if you have more than that, good rank, gpa, essay and a minority good shot.

The rest sorry don’t know anything about them that much. But go to [College Search - College Admissions - University Admissions - Cappex - Home](http://www.■■■■■■■■■■)
It can tell you how much chance you have in those colleges.

I know Im going to sound stupid, but what are TABS? What is the rumor?

When you log into ur Agora account, you should see 5-6 rectangles. Those are tabs. Hope that helps.
