With just weeks until notification, many of the RD’ers, like myself are becoming increasingly nervous about our fate…(If only we had a “brookbond” of our own to find out, lol…) Attention EA Acceptees, Please tell me that the acceptance letter comes in the most obvious envelope possible, so that my parents aren’t holding it to the light when I walk in the door.

it's not wicked thick unless you're invited into the honors program, but it's definitely a big envelope... denials and waitlists are smaller ones

lol, yeah, tothemaxbro... the envelopes are a lot bigger if you are accepted than if you have been denied or waitlisted. good luck!

you're my hero kq09. I only ask so that I'm not in suspense. BC should be the last letter I get exclusively in the snail mail system, so it's the one I'm the most nervous about lol.

I don't belive those people at Harvard were so stupid, all they needed to do was wait a few more weeks, and now even if they were accepted, they're going to get rejected...argh, and I thought I was up tight about my decisions.

What do you mean, tothemaxbro?
I want to find out for my friend who's waiting for deferral decisions from Harvard

That would be a bad idea, because everyone who got accepted and gained access online to their decisions is being rejected now. It's impossible to check now, even if you wanted to. Here, if you're really curious, here's a pretty good description of what happened...http://news.ft.com/cms/s/b647a32c-8d1a-11d9-9d37-00000e2511c8.html

i think... i think that tothemaxbro is talking about the guy who hacked into all of these top business schools and gave instructions to people on how they can check their decision status. these schools are ****ed and they've hinted that the people who did try to hack into their system could have their acceptance changed to a rejection...

no worries AlcyoneHikari... this was just for Harvard's BSchool so i don't think you're friend is affected

My BC acceptance letter was a huge envelope that was pretty thick. It had a 20-is page booklet in it. I got into the honors program, so I'm not sure what the acceptance letters look like for just regular admission.

For Early Action, if you were admitted to the Honors program, you received an oversized thick envelope. If you were accepted to the regular program or deferred, you received a thin, normal-sized envelope, with a brief letter.

If you're accepted regular decision, do you receive a thick, oversized envelope? Or is it a thick normal envelope? :)

I was accepted early and i got a big envelope that wasnt that thick. It had all that stuff regarding the dorms and the things you have to file and send
