Hi there,
Anyone know when acceptance decisions usually come from schools and when enrollment decisions need to be made?
TIA
Acceptance dates vary by school. Some (especially conservatories or conservatory-style programs) do rolling academic acceptances and then notify the applicant after auditions about artistic acceptance. Others (like BU and NYU) release all decisions at the same time. Some schools will call the accepted students only over a week and only after that is done will release emails / portal decisions to the rejected applicants. All schools issue decisions by April 1 and all schools should give RD applicants until May 1 to decide, although a one or two BFA programs didn’t follow that rule last year and gave applicants an earlier deadline.
