Why does a school that does not have rolling admissions not send out their RD acceptance letters all at once? My S was recently accepted at one of his top choice "good match" schools that is a popular choice at his high school. However we began hearing of acceptance letters a good week and half before he got his. My S was calm but it made me stress out a little.

I agree. Syracuse sent a batch of letters (emails) yesterday as they said they would. So far it looks like all were acceptances (unless the declines don't want to post). My D and I are so nervous! Though they said they will send out in probably 2 waves, is the first acceptances? Everyone on here is speculating and I am just nervous! She is an OK student (3.0 uw and 3.3 w) but she is a 4 generation legacy with 2 great grandparents, 1 grandparent, 7 aunts and uncles, 1 parent, 3 cousins. Literally, we bleed orange. The speculation is making me nervous, so D is not reading anything on here anymore! It also looks like everyone accepted had some form of aid and she is full pay. I am planning a big reunion this October with sorority sisters and if she doesn't get in, I'm not going to want to go, though I will because I miss and love those girls!!! So, back to the thread, why can't they just do it all at once!!
