I got an acceptance letter already from the University of New Hampshire. I was wondering if this was normal to get a response back so quickly without having done any early admission programs? Will they just send me financial aid information later?

I'm supposed to get Geneseo's decision this month, even though I applied RD....so I guess some schools send letters out earlier.

Is the school rolling admissions?

yeah, i'm wondering--w/ major universities who don't have rolling deadlines and say they'll send out in april--do they ever send out before then? like, in march, or even late february or something?

Congratulations for having an acceptance under your belt.

Many public universities have rolling admissions where you will usually get a response from 6 to 12 weeks after submitting your application.

UC's post mid March ... except UCLA and UCB who post with the Ivies.

I think Duke was late March. Or maybe that was Northwestern. I'm getting all confused :(

I don't think it's rolling admissions. They had a deadline on February 1st for applications. My mom thought it was just more literature from the college when it came in the mail, so she opened it up and guess what she found? A nice little acceptance letter. About three months earlier than expected :)

Most Febuary 1st schools are rolling. That is my guess. Congrats.
