<p>Did anybody else just get an email saying a big surprise is coming in the mail tomorrow? Daughter did not get a letter today but just got this email tonight. It says “you still have one more present to open… And there’s a big surprise that a little greyhound told us was on your wish list” ?</p>
<p>I just received that email! I think your daughter will be very happy with that “surprise”!</p>

<p>received same “gift” email today…no acceptance letter though even though I live close to loyola lol</p>
<p>My son did not get anything in snail mail but he got the same message in his spam email. It said the following:</p>
<p>"A big envelope is coming your way from Loyola! We want it to be a surprise, so we won’t tell you what’s inside, but a little Greyhound told us it was on your wish list. We can’t wait to hear how you like it!</p>
<p>Have a happy and rewarding New Year!"</p>
<p>I have to assume that means he is in. If not it is a very nasty trick. He is very excited. This is one of his top 4. Deferred at Villanova and waiting to here from TCNJ and Lafayette.</p>

I can’t imagine they would send that to anyone that isn’t getting an acceptance!</p>

<p>Yeah I’m starting to feel a little worried. I applied to loyola as like a low match school just as a backup that is way better than my safety school, but throughout the past month or so it’s slowly made its way to the top of my list with what I’ve been reading about it.</p>

<p>Hi I was accepted early admission. My weighted GPA is a 3.8. My combined SAT (1600 scale) was a 1100. I’m the president of my schools National Honor Society as well as a Student Council member. I have over 1,200 hours of community service and am the secretary of the service trip. I have been involved in 3 varsity sports (field hockey, indoor track and outdoor track). I was the captain of my Field Hockey team. I have also taken 5 AP courses throughout my high school career. I have been a member of numerous different extracurricular activities. I take pride in my accomplishments and am very excited to have been accepted to Loyola University MD! </p>

<p>From Massachusetts and I got the email from Loyola around dinner time indicating that a “Big” Envelope was on the way. Our mail was delivered mid morning so I am hoping the envelope arrives tomorrow.</p>
