<p>When are decision letters traditionally sent out?</p>
<p>If I had to guess I'd say March 29th (Saturday) at the earliest, but probably March 31st (Monday). The results should be available online as early as the 31st for some, and on April 1st for everyone. </p>
<p>This is how they did it for ED anyway, maybe they'll do it differently for RD and it'll be completely different.</p>

<p>I'm slightly amused that Rice has sent me the undergraduate announcement before the acceptance letter. I mean, I know they did send the likely letter, so maybe it's just part of that. But anyway, it was just funny to walk in the door from spring break and find this big fat UA but no letter. Ah well, I know it's coming.</p>

<p>Last year DD got an email with the acceptance. But the full financial info came in the mail.</p>

<p>She's talking about a general announcements book that talks about Rice majors and classes at Rice. I got one too and I agree an acceptance letter would have been better.</p>
<p>From what I see in last year's forums, the decisions were posted online on the night of the 30th.</p>
<p>Which is a Sunday this year. Last year it was a Friday, and since the admissions office doesn't work on the weekends, I think it may be safe to assume that results will be posted online this Friday, the 28th. Does anyone agree?</p>

I hope it's the 28th but I think that's too early. The Rice website says people will be notified on April 1, so I think monday the 31st is the most likely date.</p>
<p>When I went to an information session, they said we would find out April 1st 'or a few days before that,' so I'm holding out hope and keeping my fingers crossed!!!</p>
<p>According to adoffice, the decision e-mail and mail will be sent tomorrow (3/25/08) afternoon.</p>
