So reading through the process, this is how I understand notifications.

I'm applying to 4 of the non binding schools. Let's say I rank MIT as # 1. MIT doesn't know this and neither does Stanford/Princeton/etc., so let's say Stanford, my #2 accepts me, which means MIT did not. But lets go a bit farther, let's say Princeton and Yale also accepted me. I realize I won't hear about the Princeton/Yale acceptance but when I decide to regular decision forward, will I automatically be notified of my acceptance? Will I still have to wait like everyone else as they reevaluate my app? Will they look down upon the fact that I wasn't higher ranked on my college match?

This is all hypothetical of course and was just hoping someone who has gone through the process could explain what's going to happen.

Originally I thought if I did non-binding I would be told of all my acceptances but the FAQ's wording says other wise.

Thanks for the help in advance! Hope all goes well with everyone's server problems(still waiting on a recommender to enter her letter), and wish everyone the best in becoming a finalist.
