Questbridge Match + Regular Decision

So I have a few questions regarding Questbridge. I am a Questbridge finalist and have applied to Columbia, MIT, Brown, Stanford, UPenn, Notre Dame, Princeton, and Yale, and do not have any feeling that i will get in to any of them.

First, about the College Match.
-First, For the schools we applied to that required the Common App, did we have to put down somewhere that we were a Questbridge finalist or does Questbridge notify all of the colleges that we are affiliated with it?
-Also, when we put down on the deadline part of the common app, regular decision rather than early action, do the colleges know that we are technically early action through the Questbridge college match? I really don't want to have my applications ignored until Regular Decision and have a chance in the college match.

Next, about the Regular Decision.
-First, for example, I ranked Columbia and sent everything in. Do I have to send in my CSS Profile again to Columbia as well as my other Colleges I ranked? I really don't want to spend another $150 bucks on it.
-And, am I allowed to apply to more than 8 schools through Questbridge? I wanna broaden my application horizon since i applied to the hardest schools and have a chance at being accepted to one of the colleges.
-Lastly, "Students who have ranked and completed the required materials for the University of Chicago, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and/or Stanford University will automatically be considered for Regular Decision. There is no need to contact their admissions offices." For the schools that aren't in this quote that is on Questbridge like Brown, do we have to somehow contact them to be considered for RD? Also, Brown doesn't tell us how to contact them for RD and i don't know what to do for that.

Lastly, how are you guys taking this agonizing wait until December 1st? Everyday, I think about the college match even though any hope that i have will be crushed on that day. I can just see that email about not matching to any of the schools.

Anyways, good luck to all of you on the College Match!!!

Let’s see if I can help at all aha.

College Match:
I put my status as a finalist as an award, but I feel as though most schools were probably notified; also, for all of the schools I ranked I had to fax financial documentation on which I had to write that I was a QB Finalist so they most likely have a solid understanding of our application’s circumstances.

Regular Decision:
As far as I know, anything that you have already submitted need not be sent in again. You will most likely need to send the CSS to the other schools however.
For the other two questions, I am not entirely sure, but I believe that simply stating somewhere in your application that you are a QB finalist would be enough. For UVA’s supplement, for example, it asks if you are a participant in the program. You could state it in awards or additional information, or simply contact an admissions director.

It truly is agonizing! Best of luck, and stay optimistic !
