acceptance notification?

Any updates on financial aid usually go out in early APril, once FAFSA forms have been submitted – must be in by March 1.

DadQuestion…nothing yet for us either…the waiting game is not much fun. This is the final letter we are waiting on…and to me, the most important  Go Tigers!

I don’t work for financial aid and don’t know too much about how they operate so I would direct all questions to their office: [Contact Us : Clemson University](Contact Student Financial Aid | Clemson University)

Hang in there for a few more days! I know the whole process is probably very stressful and most of you are nervous about whether you are going to receive that package or not but you’re almost there!

Good luck to everyone!

If letters were mailed Thursday, as someone stated they heard from admissions, some students in SC should have been posting their good news today. I suspect the letters aren’t in the mail yet.

I live in SC and spoke to someone in the admissions office directly. I asked and she clearly stated that letters started going out on Thur. Our mail arrives between 3 and 4. I will advise if my son’s letter arrives today. Good luck everyone.

Also in SC - I didn’t get anything but my friend did - she was accepted into the Bridge Program

ElizKel

What kind of stats did your friend who got into the bridge have? Thanks.

Nbkmsta, I hope you get the big envelope today! Please keep us updated. If SC gets them today the rest of us on the east coast can look forward to Monday.

Her SAT was better than mine (I had a 1080/1600) but her GPA & class rank were a good bit worse (mine is 3.92/4.75 & 18 out of 260). I don’t know her exact stats.

I also don’t know what major she applied for - I know that makes a difference. I’m sure it wasn’t engineering or nursing. I actually just sent her a text asking what it was.

My friend said she applied undecided - I didn’t think you could do that at Clemson. Might be why she got Bridge.

(She was accepted at College of Chas & USC and has chosen USC)

Sad Day. Second time this house has received the small envelope. I’m not exactly sure on my kid’s SAT but it was around 1150. Good grades/class rank/AP classes. We have several Clemson grads in the family. I heard having alumni in family would help. I’m really surprised and so disappointed for my kids especially when you see kids who haven’t taken any AP classes getting accepted.

My son received “Welcome to Tigertown” letter an hour ago. Seems like everyone in Greenville, SC heard today.

So my girlfriend and Clemson had a little competition this week. She sent me my Valentine’s Day package on Thursday and Clemson sent me my letter on Thursday. Both my girlfriend and Clemson are located in South Carolina (she’s in Charleston). Guess who won? Not Clemson. Looks like I’ll be waiting until Monday :/

Could someone please explain this phone book to me…we are in maryland and letters haven’t arrived yet…the phone book seems to list name and status — does and “s” in status mean student??? Under the help link it does…we haven’t gotten our letter/packet yet but my son has an “s”!!! Can I draw the conclusion – do not want to even get excited or tell him anything as I am not sure - any advice/comments greatly appreciated!

Yes, S = student! (E = employee)

thank you pierre…then I can be pretty sure that he was accepted I presume.?

I would assume so, definitely still wait for that letter to be sure but there is reason to be optimistic now since he is in the system

Pierre-

I am in the system too but in took an online course last summer. Any clue if they would’ve deleted me for the fall 2011 and then re-added me? Or would they have just left my account inactive but there?

thanks again…will take your advice and "sit’ on this info and wait to receive letter/packet.

Do I have to have my Clemson ID number or could I just leave that blank and enter my name?
