Anyone know what an acceptance package will look like in the mail? Like what will be in it, and how thick it would be?

If you didn’t request to have mail/web notification you will get something in the mail-- but it won’t be on the 15th-- more likely Saturday or Monday (They are put out to the post office on the 15th). Admits get a certificate suitable for framing, so it is a big-- I assume rejects would get a business sized one.

It will probably be red.

I believe the official word was that you could request email notification up to Dec 8, but it would be worth a try.

The acceptance notice is a cream colored 11 by 14 " oversized envelope with the Harvard insignia and address printed in crimson in the top left corner. It sent via USPO and postmarked Dec. 15th.

That completely answers my question! Thanks!

It includes a certificate affirming that you’ve been accepted to Harvard . . . which you’d have to be a total tool to actually frame on your wall. :)

gadad - you are mean!

So, I’ll either be looking for a large envelope with happiness in blood writing, or a sad, small little envelope packed with despair…

From what i remember seeing, if i remember correctly, it is like a red folder thingy with papers in the folder basically saying you have been admitted to the Harvard class. It also includes like a book with all the classes available to freshmen. But i’m not sure if that is the admittance packet or just one of the packets Harvard sends to get admitted people to say Yes.

I’ll know what to hope for!
