acceptance rate for ED I vs. ED II

general consensus seems to be that applying for ED boosts your change of getting admitted.

George Washington has a unique ED II that I don't know of with any other school (may be there are more, but I never heard of it). That seems like a good option because ED II deadline is Jan 10, after most ED schools let the student know about ED decision by Dec 15 - so the student can try another school's ED, and then try GW's ED II if s/he did not make it with the other schools ED.

Does anyone know if ED II also have the admission boosting effect? The stats I have seen shows that ED acceptance rate fore GW is about 60%, while the regular admission rate is about 35%. I am wondering if this ratio holds for both ED I and ED II, or JUST ED I.

Thanks for your input.

At CI my parents were talking about this with someone from admissions. They said yes, the boost is the same as ED I for ED II students. This year it was 50% admit rate with around 900 students taken ED’s. I think overall there were 7,000 something acceptances for a total of somewhere around 2500 final freshman?
