<p>Does anyone else think that the acceptance rate for the arriving class will be less than 50%. I saw somewhere that that they have already received nearly 17k applications. The school is getting slightly larger but in the past they accepted round 8k students. If that holds an acceptance rate under 50% is quiet possible. That would very much help the ranking as well.</p>
<p>I don’t think that the admissions rate will be less than 50% but it will probably be around 50%. President Barker said that the number of freshman students will be the same as the one this year so if the number of applications has increased, the admissions rate will decrease. We’ll see though. However, it would be really cool if the admissions rate went below 50% since that would mean that the value of my education would increase :)</p>
