Acceptance Rates among Hispanics

Does anyone know anything about the Hispanic/Latino acceptance rates at top schools? I'm talking about the percentage of Hispanics who applied and were accepted (not the percentage of accepted who were Hispanic).

Thanks

No one has any idea at all?

good question. It's easy to see what the percentage accepted was, but it would be interesting to see what the percentage accepted vs the percent applied.

anyone??

im curious as well....

it'd be interesting to see among the different minority groups as well for comparrision.

"It's easy to see what the percentage accepted was,"

How?

You can check any statistic book in the library or book store. You can even check on the internet for the different ethnic groups accepted.

I'm looking, but most of it is pretty old.... any links? Also, by "statistics books" do you mean college catalogs? Mine don't list acceptance that way.

Edit; Here's one from '05. Note how often a reinvest for into is "declined".

guitars101 maybe you mean percent of each minority group in the freshman class....percent accepted is much harder to find.

Something old from Amherst.

Yeah, I've always been curious, but I've never been able to find acceptance rates among ethnic groups. I'm just curious.

you are correct, I do mean minority groups. Sorry for the confusion. I was interested in finding out how many apply and out of those what is the percentage of those accepted.

Thanks

It'd be pretty baller if someone could find out. I'm just saying.

ya. i would like to know too..

Did you check the links I posted ( mainly African American acceptance rates; applied divided by accepted)? BTW; I am African American and my interest is seeing if all the "hook" propaganda is true. Some of this is hard to find and not reported because of how people might use it, I believe out of context. I hope that doesn't happen here.
