<p>From what I understand, they look for calculus preparation for business and engineering students, since both require calculus and statistics. Most majors within A&S do not require calculus, so they don’t look much into that. To be honest, I’d be surprised if there was much of a difference, but I’m not sure on this.</p>
<p>If you want to major in business, you should definitely declare Leavey on your application. It’s almost impossible to get into once you’re already admitted into engineering or A&S. I’m not sure how the engineering school deals with internal transfers, but you can switch from Leavey to A&S with no problem at all.</p>
