Do you need higher stats in order to get into the business school compared to arts and sciences?

Also, is the acceptance rate higher if you want to major in something within arts and sciences? Thank you

I don’t think so because Lehigh makes it very easy to transfer to another school.

I’ve never seen a breakdown of stats or acceptance rates specific to the three different undergraduate schools at Lehigh (arts & sciences, business, and engineering).

Lehigh is known for interdisciplinary programs between the three schools, and for ease of transfer between the three schools. As noted above, this suggests that the standards for all three schools may be relatively similar. If freshman admissions were much harder at a particular school, then transfer admissions would probably be hard as well.

My GUESS is that you would need higher stats to get into the top programs. Pretty basic supply and demand - the top ranked programs can get the better students and the lower ranked or less popular programs may accept less qualified students to fill the slots. Also, a smaller school like Lehigh has a much broader criteria than just stats when picking students. Of course they have diversity goals but they also need students for the band, the newspaper, the yearbook, the choir, etc. etc. Every year admissions has to create a little “Lehigh Ecosystem” Haha.
