<p>I was just wondering if anyone knew the acceptance rates for URMs at Penn. I know last year they got something like 7000+ URM applicants, and I want to know if anyone knows the outcomes. Thanks! :-)</p>
<p>I'm too lazy to do the calculations to figure out the acceptance rate but you can do it from the information on Penn's site:</p>
<p>"Penn received 18,282 applications for admission to the Class of 2008. Of those applicants, 3,878, or 21.2 percent, were offered admission... About 41.4 percent of those accepted for admission to the Class of 2008 are Black, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American. Women comprise 50.8 percent of all students currently enrolled."</p>
