Acceptance Revoked?

I just got an e-mail from MSU saying that they need my final high school transcript for the 8th semester before July 1st. This was sent to all the students enrolled at MSU, but I would just like to know, is it possible for my acceptance to be revoked if I get a D in a class (Anatomy)? I've never gotten a D before, and got into MSU with a 3.3 GPA and 27 ACT and took numerous AP and honors classes.

Also, can I get revoked if I have 2 D's, one in anatomy and one in Calculus BC? Thanks.

I don’t think 1 D will be cause for revocation of acceptance, but 2 Ds when you have never gotten D’s before is certainly not a good sign. They might ask you to explain the reason why your grades have taken a turn for the worse, and very well could revoke you with 2 Ds or worse. Even though Calc BC is an AP class. Seriously, try to bring those grades up to at least a C. Then you will have much less to worry about.

Agree with fa la la. Getting D’s is a problem. One they will probably let go but more than one or a D with a bunch of C’s and you may have some explaining to do.

I agree with res. If you were borderline, the D might push you towards having it revoked, but I highly doubt that would happen. You should be fine.

Good luck :)
