Acceptance to NYU with low SATs!

<p>HI. I applied to NYU (CAS) for early decision and i am seriously nervous! How much do they look at my SAT scores? That part of my application is HORRIBLE! </p>

<p>SAT II- Math Level 1-550
Math Level 2 650
Literature= 530
YEAH i know, these scores are terrible. sigh. I just want to know what the chances are of me getting into NYU and if anyone has gotten into NYU with significantly low SAT scores.</p>

<p>I have a 4.0 GPA and have taken the most rigorous courses at my school, a bunch of extra credits and a solid essay. I dont know if applying for early decision helps any. I am from Oregon if that matters. I am afraid they are going to look at my SAT scores and not care about everything else in my application. PLEASE HELP!</p>

<p>i’ve heard that 1900+ is an automatic acceptance with respect to SAT scores</p>

<p>but yeah…you should have thought twice before sending those subject tests</p>

<p>^ The OP wouldnt have had choice anyway. SAT subjects are required to apply to NYU</p>
