NYU is a reach; what’s your backup plans? Some university in your home country?

Be prepared to pay a hefty cost, if you somehow got into NYU.

NYU is unlikely, your class rank is a bit low, and your SAT is low (this is especially bad if you don’t have a GPA). Are there any other schools that you are looking at?

am not applying for aid…and if i apply ed will that help?

ED doesn’t help under-qualified students much, if at all. So no.

I believe the lowest math sat score they took for CAS last year was around 670

Most posters here are correct. Your stats are a bit “out of the range” for a straight NYU CAS admit. However, if your application is compelling enough, they will admit you to another school within the university or one of their provisional programs where after two years or less you will be able to just transfer into CAS. This happened to six of my clients from last year that also listed NYU as their dream school. - ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■(.)com
