Hi everyone! I posted this in "admissions" but I hadn't realized this thread existed. :D

I'm a high school senior in Massachusetts, aspiring English Education major, who is very nervous about getting into UMass (Amherst). I absolutely love it but I won't be hearing from them until early April tear.

I've already been accepted to my other schools (Fitchburg State, Salem State, Bridgewater State, Simmons, and Emmanuel in Boston - awaiting response from Lesley) but I'm still nervous. UMass is my number one school; it has everything I want in a school and it's cheap (I got the Adams scholarship so I'm in even better financial shape, yay).

My GPA is a 3.1 and my SAT is 1700, 1020 without writing. Not great, but I have a 2 page resume and my essay is pretty decent. I just hear their admissions standards are a lot higher these days. Any words of comfort...or discomfort? Thank you very much :).
