<p>My son has been accepted to the following 5 schools.
he is an average student interested in Mechanical Engineering.
We have visited each school but I would like to get the opinions of others.
We are mass residents.</p>

<p>i dont know much about any of those schools your son got into. but i would say just on recognition alone URI would be a great choice. my brothers best friend graduated from there, had a great time in college, and now has a good job in nyc two years later.</p>
<p>i known all those schools and I would say URI is the best- but C Conn State is second i would say</p>

<p>i'm quite familiar with every school on your list except for southern maine and i stronlgy say URI- by far the best quality of life compared to the rest of the list</p>
<p>we also can add umass lowell to the list but I tend to agree that URI is a better school. we'll be visitin again to take a closer look.</p>
