Acceptances HS Class Of 2008 - By Member Name

**Acceptances Class Of 2008 - By Member Name:

MODERATOR NOTE: The audition season has started and already some acceptances are rolling in. It's early, but I am setting up an "acceptance" thread, as has been done on the MT Forum the past couple of years, by MEMBER NAME. As you or your child receive an acceptance and wish to announce and share it here, please add your name to the list in alphabetical order and the name of the school and program where you have been accepted. The list will be alphabetized by MEMBER NAME.

To add to the list, FIRST copy and paste the MOST RECENT posted list and then add your new information. If you know how to use color or bold text to highlight the new addition to the list, all the better. If you have more than one acceptance, add them as a list next to your name, using commas.

We also maintain another ACCEPTANCE THREAD BY SCHOOL NAME, as some want to look up who else is accepted to the same schools. This thread here is for looking up by member. Try to add your new acceptances to BOTH the lists, this one by member and the other sticky thread by school name. Both threads will be stuck at the top of the MT Forum for the duration of this school year.

CC's policy is to keep all acceptance announcements in these consolidated threads as an entire group of our members and we do not allow single threads devoted to announcing individual acceptances. Please share them here!

Here's hoping this list grows and grows and is as long as last year's, if not longer! Remember that while some schools tell some students of admissions decisions early in the process, many schools do not release any decisions until late spring or April 1. If you read of acceptances early in the audition season, it doesn't mean good news doesn't await you, too, in spring. Hearing early is a nice relief for those who get into schools that grant decisions early, but is not "better." Be patient as the wait may be long but it is the end result come April that matters. It is more typical to hear news in spring than in fall or winter.

Good luck to this year's seniors (and transfer applicants)!

Jacksdad's S: Baldwin-Wallace

My S got the official letter of accpetance to Baldwin-Wallace's Music Theater BFA today. He is so excited-we were both very impressed with the success of the program and with everyone involved in the audition experience. I am uncharacteristically speechless-thanks to everyone on CC who has added there wisdom and guidance to this board-he couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you for sharing such great news!!!!

Jacksdad,

That is terrific news! Now you can sit back and relax because you know your son has somewhere wonderful to go! That certainly takes a lot of stress off the rest of his auditions! Congratulations! :)

Bravo to Jack, and to his dad. :)

Way to go, Jack! And kudos to Jacksdad and Jacksmom and everyone else who helped along the way. Now y'all can breathe out a little and enjoy the upcoming holidays without so much pressure. That's terrific.

Congrats Jacksdad, Jack and family! Wow-How exciting!! Guess we all know what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving:) Congrats, again!!

Wow, congrats Jack's DAD and Jack and the rest of the family! That is a great way to start the audition season and to take some pressure off! Those decisions came out very early this year, as they did two years ago. Last year my D was accepted after the fall audition date, and those acceptance letters did not go out until B-W's fall semester was ending in December, although we had heard the rumors that four were being accepted out of the fall audition date. Lucky Jack to know so early! and lucky Dad! Yay!!!

Ok so I made a mistake in my desire to share our good fortune. BW's program is a BM, not BFA. Oh well, I'm just the dad.

Congratulations......What a relief. Will your S continue auditioning or is he set on BW?

Well done! Some early stress relief and validation

Nothing like an early acceptance at a great school to take the pressure off. Congratulations!

Dear JacksDad, it was lovely to meet you and your delightful son recently. I am SO happy for both of you, and can't wait to share your happy news with my D!!!

Thanks to everyone-big sigh of relief on this end. S will continue with a few more auditions but BW is very high on the list! BrownSugar-it was great meeting you as well-your daughter is a delight and should be hearing great things as well.

Congrats to Jack AND Dad...and the rest of the team behind Jack. IMHO you are never "just the Dad". Take some credit, too. You deserve it.

Congratulations! What a nice way to begin Thanksgiving week! :)

Happy news! Best of luck on the rest of your journey and to all the others beginning their audition year!

Thanks for sharing such wonderful news...you and your family must be thrilled!
We're thrilled for you! :)

Congratulations! BW offers such a wonderful program. It is so nice to read this happy news :); enjoy Thanksgiving!
