<p>My D just got into Northwestern ED as a theater major in the School of Communications and is thrilled. (I am not sure how to add to this list). Thanks so much CC for everything! Just to cover herself she was actively preparing for 8 scheduled auditions and I learned so much from this site!</p>

<p>Thanks so much for everyone's kind words! I gotta say -- its quite a relief to be done! My D is absolutely thrilled. I think its the best fit for her.</p>
<p>Congrats to all! It will be much less stressful over the holidays for you! Just a word of advice: for those who have accepted a spot at your favorite school, and you already paid the audition fees, CMU actually refunds the audition fee (at least, they did 3 years ago!) The other 6 schools my daughter was going to apply to (Emerson, Penn State, Ithaca, BOCO, CCM, and HARTT) did NOT offer an audition refund. I think maybe 1 or 2 of those did not have a separate audition fee, anyway; but I don't remember which one(s)!</p>
<p>Just accepted to Boston College in the BA Theatre program (probably with a Pyschoanalysis minor) -- not MT, but for those of you who have heard of my whole ordeal with colleges, you'll understand why I'm happy!!</p>
<p>Yay, Sporti!!! My nephew is a freshman there and he loves it. NOT an easy school to get into, so GREAT NEWS!!!</p>
<p>My S just got accepted to NYU/Tisch!!!!
He/we are done! I've been keeping a low profile since his audition in Nov....trying to keep the butterflies under control :) Thanks to my fellow CCers for your help and support!
