Anyone here from Stevens yet?

acceptances are as barren as your thread

i got my acceptance today, has ne1 else???? ANd if you have do u know when they notify about financial aid

I haven't gotten anything yet. Do you live in NJ?

Not sure about financial aid, may want to call?

yeah i live in newark, about a 17 min drive from Stevens.

I got my acceptance on Friday. Today I called to find out about financial aid. They said that aid packages will be sent out in about a week.

wait a minute... i knew that the name "platnumprodig33" looked familiar.
Hey Orlando!! It's Dan from gov school

i could've sworn that was you. Wussup man that is crazy. what are the odds that we would encounter one another in a forum?

JESUS, orlando and dan? (this is trisha)
that is insane. i recognized both your names.
i was checking this forum to see if there was anything amazing about the school that would win it over for me.
..there isn't much, lol.
-i mainly post on cmu and berkeley-
are either of you going here?

lol, Hey Trisha! Here's to a mini GSET reunion on the forums.
Right now I'm leaning towards going to Rensselaer. I think Stevens might be my 2nd choice. I'm still waiting on a decision from Cooper Union & don't know how that's going to affect the balance of things.

Wow, hey Trisha, howz everything? Yeah this forum is kinda dead....I m leaning toward Penn right now.

This is weird..I got into NYU GSP but I didn't get into Steven's Business and Technology program. Are the admissions even comparable?

I totally didn't get the messages for those two responses. Either that, or I got like ten at the same time and assumed it was from CMU. I'm definitely going to CMU.. i couldn't choose between CMU and Berkeley, cuz I assumed Berkeley was gonna give me more money..but uh..they gave me...600.....yea...

Carnegie Mellon '10!! hahaa.

desi0r: from what i read on these forums, NYU Gsp has pretty low standards. I would say Stevens Business program is definetely harder to get into.

I guess if jumped to false assumptions when speaking to the temp. on the phone last week. I DID GET IN!!!!

I am 95% sure I am going to the Business and Technology program at Stevens this upcoming fall. Anybody else? As the program only has around only 25-40 students, we will all most likely be in the same classes throughout our four years.
