<p>CollegeMom- what you have read on the admissions site is not correct. In addition to those others who have posted, my D received her acceptance letter postmarked Oct. 19. 2010. I’m pretty sure its authentic! It came in a large envelope with a cute Nittany Lion Logo on the upper left! Inside is a nice letter dated October 18, signed by Anne L. Rohrbach, Executive Director for Undergraduate Admissions, and it assigns my daughter a PSU ID number.</p>
<p>CollegeMom is obivously upset her child hasn’t received any notification yet, and I’m not sure why. Stop posting on everyone that has been accepted’s statuses, and be patient. Just because he/she didn’t receive his letter as early as some of us, it does not been he/she is not going to be admitted. In addition, the 700 that did receive their acceptances early were part of a glitch but were nevertheless accepted. Implying that they did not earn that acceptance is rude and inconsiderate.</p>
<p>Just now I got accepted to Penn State Undecided Engineering major!!! (in University Park) I am so happy!!!</p>
<p>A lot of my friends who applied to PSU got their acceptances before November 1st</p>
<p>PSU’s website says that if you apply by November 30th, you’ll hear by the end of January. So plenty of people are still waiting to hear.</p>
