Accepted 2 offers - what are the consequences?

I've accepted 2 offers of transfer admission. I applied to 2 colleges as a transfer student. My dream school told me I was ineligible for admission, and the other school said I should accept ASAP in order to talk to an adviser there, so I did (and I never got to talk to that adviser). Then, the school I accepted admission from got back to me with a terrible financial aid package, and the school I didn't think I was able to get into accepted me and gave me an excellent package.

So, now I have accepted 2 offers of admission. I want to cancel on the first school, which is totally unaffordable and will put me in a ton of debt (the second school will leave me debt free). Does anyone know if cancelling my acceptance to a school could result in harsher penalties than losing my deposit? Is there some kind of admissions blacklist that I'd be entered into? Or can they force me to pay off the ridiculous loans they offered me even if I never attend?

i calculated my csu gpa wrong and it made a difference of 3.9 gpa to 3.8 gpa. will SDSU revoke me for this? it was a mistake.

Not sure if this is a joke or just misplaced.

all that will happen is lose deposit, no worries

be sure and send an email, or something you can track saying sorry, but no thanks

that’s it, no black list, no harsh penalties, itll be fine, just stay on top of things

colleges see this all the time
