<p>I was recently accepted to UNC Chapel Hill as a transfer student. Next year will be my sophomore year. However, I wanted to know if there is anyway I could defer my enrollment for a year and stay at my current school for an additional year. </p>

<p>However, I will say that permitting deferral is less common for transfers and that deferring to stay another year at your current school is a rather strange reason.</p>
