Accepted at Carnegie Mellon....to the wrong college.

<p>hey guys. I just received my acceptance letter to Carnegie mellon...s mellon school of science. I originally applied to biological sciences as a foundation for pre-med, but after reconsidering my future, i realized Computer science is a much more attractive and interesting major. i called the office of admissions today and was told that it is currently very difficult to change colleges due to the massive increase in student body (up 19 some percent i was told), i have been trying to contact the computer science admissions but havent had much luck.</p>

<p>Well, SCS is what makes CMU what it is, so it's going to be very difficult to transfer. They may make you maintain a high GPA for the first two years and then let you apply to transfer to SCS, but it's better to wait until you've actually contacted them to figure everything out.</p>
