Accepted at Duke, Rejected at CMU SCS

<p>A lot of schools will accept women with slightly lower stats. The fact is that once they are in college they generally perform as well as the higher stat boys. So while it may look like a form of affirmative action, it's fairer than you might think. I think everyone benefits if the M/F ratio is less skewed.</p>

<p>I got rejected by CMU and accepted by Cornell for architecture..there is hope!</p>

<p>a lot of people probably dont go to CMU because it's so expensive compared to other schools (apprently #10 for expense for 2008-2009 school year?) I know I got into CIT but wont be able to go unless I can get enough money that cuts the cost down to in-state tuition...</p>
