My son clicked “accept” on a college offer because he thought it meant he was acknowledging the offer. I had no idea until the email about the deposit arrived.
How can he undo this because he really is not ready to make a decision? Unless and until it is undone does it hurt his information/visibility on the common app?

It’s fine. He can just email the admissions office and let them know he clicked accept by mistake and that he isn’t ready to make a decision yet. They aren’t going to rescind the offer and no other colleges will know.
