Accepted by UCI - Still waiting on others.

<p>It's funny...but maybe you get a lil numb from all the talk about who will accept you and when that when I loaded the UCI status page and saw:</p>

<p>"You have been admitted to UC Irvine!"</p>

<p>I was a bit like: "Ah, that's nice."</p>

<p>They are 3rd on my list and I have yet to hear from LA, D and SD so I suppose I should be stoked...the area is nice and I hear the campus is fairly modern.</p>

<p>But I can't say I ever saw myself as an Aardvark or Anteater...what ever they are.</p>

<p>I guess I have pinned so much on my #1 choice, all other schools are a distant, remote consideration and a lackluster runner-up prize. I know this isn't the case, and that UCI is a fantastic school, underrated even.</p>

<p>Anyways...I am in...so...cool.</p>

<p>Anyone else suffering from acceptance apathy?</p>

<p>P.S.
I forgot to mention, I am a CCC transfer student, 4.0, philosophy major/pre-med. For those that care.</p>

Amusing anecdote: They misspelled "Philosophy" under admission summary major. ;)</p>

<p>I know the feeling. I got into Tulane yesterday and was thrilled. I think it was more because I really needed to get in somewhere then anything else. I'm still waiting on UCI, hopefully they come out with my decission in the near future, since I really will feel better when I get into a UC.</p>

<p>Congrats on getting in though, UCI is actually a really nice school. I've got a friend going there, and have been on the campus a few times.</p>
