Accepted Cornell students: Did you send supplemental materials with your application?

<p>If you sent supplemental materials, what specifically did you send? I am interested in your responses because I would like to know what kinds of materials are acceptable, if anything extra is taken seriously at all.</p>

<p>I applied to Engineering and I sent in an extra sheet detailing my activities.</p>

<p>I sent an extra rec from my advisor who has known me for several years and is a cornell alum</p>

<p>One of the dean of admissions for arts and sciences told me that they love recieving supp. materials... school reports, papers, art work, CDs, videos of sports games and concerts... They can't promise they'll be able to get through it all, but they absolutely try. </p>

<p>P.S. I sent in a CD of my art work, and I would've sent them more things if I had the time.</p>

<p>i applied to hotel and sent in an extra 4 sheets detailing my activities on this special resume paper. i also had the folders that went with the paper with my activity thing too. my entire application was also in these huge envelopes that went with the paper and folders. best $40 i spent in my life..</p>

<p>I didn't send any additional stuff but I think it is a good idea to send an extra sheet with some explanation of your EC's.</p>
